Hello, Darling

Skin health is more than just washing your face before you climb into bed. It can effect your confidence and even influence your overall mental well-being. It can ultimately define how beautiful you feel. Brittany has practiced her love for skin care since she was a child, mixing up random ingredients and storing them in leftover cosmetic containers. Her true motivation for skin health started in her teenage years when she struggled with hormonal acne. 

 

"I just remember the day of my sophomore year school photos my acne was so horrific! I looked around at all my friends while they were taking their flawless photos, wondering why I had the worst skin out of everyone in that room. It was humiliating and I simply had enough, so I scheduled a dermatologist appointment the next day. When I finally saw him, he evaluated my face, wrote me a prescription and said "You need to be using something for acne and aging on your face every single night for the rest of your life. You'll thank me later.""

 

So, she listened. Brittany made her skincare maintenance a way of life. She used every opportunity she could to learn about cosmetics, skin care, body care, ingredients, and overall skin health.  She attended Sam Houston State University where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology and Health. Brittany then furthered her education by becoming a Licensed Skin Therapist, and continues to attend courses and earn certifications to stay up to date with the latest advancements. In 2022 she officially started Remedy Skin Bar in The Woodlands, Texas, where she strives to be the best esthetician her community deserves. She focuses on results driven, customized treatments to get each person their desired results, while also educating them on best practices for their home care as well.
